    Hello

    I installed and activated the cMap template. However when I view the page it’s completely blank.

    I re-activated one of the supplied templates and all my contacts appear again.

    Help would be greatly appreciated.

    Which version of Connections and cMap do you have installed? can you share a link to your directory?

    It’s version cMap 3.0.2 and Connections: 0.7.6.1.

    When I activate the cMap template there is just a blank page.

    When you say blank page, do you mean completely white, nothing else? If yes, sounds like the memory allocated to PHP has been exhausted. Checkout this excellent blog post on ways to increase it. Let me know if that fixes it.

    The Navigation, header, sidebar etc is all still there. It’s just the cMap template that doesn’t appear. When I look at the coding it doesn’t look like the template is being added to the page at all, even though i’m using the [connections] shortcode and activated the template.

    It’s very odd and very frustrating. I would have assumed all I would have to do is activate the template and it would just transfer all the data to the new template?

    The Bio Card template has no issues, just cMap.

    Installation and activation is all it should take with nothing else to do.

    Here’s what you can do to help identify what the issue might be…

    First, install the latest version of Connections, version 0.7.6.4.

    Install and activate the BlackBox plugin. That’ll show any errors that are occurring in a bar across the top of the screen.

    Increase the PHP memory to at least 64MB. I recommend 128MB. If this is the issue. It is just a matter of time before this causes you other issues, so it’s good just to do it now.

    Now, activate cMap, leave it activated and let me know. I look at the site to see if I can identify the issue.
