Several of my users (and I as administrator) cannot login in Member Directory. When we do so, the system returns us to the login page as though nothing happened. This happens with Firefox, Chrome, on Internet Explorer. I am running up-to-date Win 8.1. Note: on my android phone, Chrome logs in properly. Also, as administrator, I can properly work with the Manage app in Connections, even when the login page fails.
A person helped me and found a conflict between two OTHER plugins: Event List and W3Total Cache. It must have happened when the others upgraded. Situation appears clean now. Connections login was on the same sidebar that the two others influenced.
Good to hear you were able to get this resolved! Form the initial description my first thought was a caching issue…
