GuestHi,
I bought cMap yesterday to build a staff directory for my school. I chose it becouse I liked to look and the expandable bio feature. Can it be customized to
1. Put the image instead of the logo on the front.
2. How do I get the grey box around each entry?
3. How can I prevent each entry from being different sizes.
As you can see, my directory is a mess right now especially since this is my first time doing this. Is there a template that is better suited for what I want? I do like TilePlus can it be customized to show an expanding bio?

Lets see…
1. Sure, use this shortcode which makes use of some cMap enabled shortcode options:
[connections image='photo'tray_image='none' tray_image_fallback='none' str_image='No Photo Available' str_tray_image='No Logo Available']
2 & 3. This is being caused by the theme. Please see this FAQ, specifically the section on the [raw] shortcode. Hope that helps.

Sorry, it has been almost a month, could you provide a link and clarify the problem you’re still having? That’ll help refresh my memory. Thanks!

GuestThis is the link to my directory page, http://wolca.org/wordpress1/staff-directory/. The problem I was told is that the theme is auto formatting the shortcodes. I tried putting the code that was supposed to fix the problem into my function php but nothing happened.

Can you please upgrade to the latest version of Connections and cMap 3.0.1? I have made changes to help remove this issue.

ParticipantI deleted the template per the update instructions and installed the plugin as usual. I got this error message: “Fatal error: Class ‘cnTemplateFactory’ not found in /data/16/2/141/0/2956000/user/3277625/htdocs/wordpress1/wp-content/plugins/cmap/cmap.php on line 46”. Where did I go wrong?

Participantok, I figured out what I was doing wrong and was able to update it successfully. So far it looks good except it doesn’t show the solid color boxes, they are just plain white outlined boxes. Any Ideas?
