GuestHi Steve,
I’ve just installed Cmap on a new website and inserted my first entry as a test. The entry details return exactly as required, however, in the Cmap category selection box, where I have only one category, if I select all categories the database is picking up all my post categories ( and of course the posts as well ) and mixing everything up.
I’ve not come across this problem before; I’d be most grateful for suggestions as to how I can rectify it.My shortcode string is: [connections str_personal_email='Email' str_home_phone='Phone'str_home_addr='Address']
Thanks,
Will

Which version of Connections and cMap are you running? What are the Permalink settings you have set in WordPress? Is the directory on the front page? can you share a link to your directory?

GuestSteve,
The link to the back end is not correct. I put a dummy on in to test if I was sending a reply in private; obviously not. I’ll send you the correct one when I’ve figured out how to send in private.

ParticipantHi Steve,
Drama over. The new template has been installed and is working fine.

Great! I believe the issue with the old version is that you were using the Default permalink structure in WordPress. Connections and its templates use to require a setup other than Default. That really wasn’t a bad thing because using anything other than Default was better for SEO for the site.

If you have a moment, I would truly appreciate a review. Thanks in advance!
