ParticipantHello Steven,
This plugin would be great if it had the option for users to review the listings, And most of all a claim listings option.
It really is almost useless to me without that option. Is there anyway we can get a plug in for that?
gins for ratings and reviews but I can’t figure out how to use them with this plug in.I could think of a couple more really useful add ons like users could add coupons to their listing. .
And the option to book appts online through their listing.
Also I still cannot get the maps theme work. It works with other plug ins I have tried but I cannot get it to work with this one?
Most of all I really need a way for people to claim their listings so i can start trying to get subscribers. that is the only reason I haven’t started marketing my site to people. Can you please help with a claim listings addon? Otherwise I am going to havwe to purchase Yet again another theme or plug in.
Thank You
Jennifer

I hear you loud and clear on your requested features, all on my list. It comes down to time and resources.
There is new third party plugin which adds the ability to add “offers” or coupons to entries, you might want to check it out.

It it part of their larger offering of taking Connections data to an iOS/Android app.

As for a claim en entry feature. We can probably work together to get something developed. Can you describe step by step how you envision such a feature working. It would have to be built in into the Link extension since a linked user would be the result of someone claiming an entry.

ParticipantDid you all manage to add the claim your listing feature? I am using the Market Template and would like to allow my listed vendors to update and manage their listings.

R: Did you all manage to add the claim your listing feature?
You can use the Link extension to accomplish this. Setup a page where a user can register to your site as a WP User. When they register and login if their WP user account email and Connections entry email match, they will be linked/”claimed” and that user will be able to edit their own entry. If they do not have an entry, they will be able to add one.
Hope this helps!
