ParticipantHowdy,
Client was wondering if it’s possible to change the url for a listing:
“When I add a new member to the directory and the url is created, for example: https://theaumnation.com/wellness-services/name/crystal-healing-with-brandy-brandy-thomas-ms-cch/
Is there anyway to change the URL to something different, for example: https://theaumnation.com/wellness-services/name/crystal-healing-with-brandy”
Thanks in advance,

The only way to change the URL is to Copy it (use the Copy action shown when you hover over the entry name on the Manage admin page). Change the entry name and save it. You can then delete the original.
Hope this helps. Let me know.

ParticipantHi Steven,
Makes sense to me.
The client was wanting a way to create a custom URL instead of it being based on the information from the Organization field. With this entry for instance:
The url is: https://theaumnation.com/wellness-services/name/crystal-healing-with-brandy-brandy-thomas-ms-cch/
She’s tried using the Contact Name fields but that doesn’t produce a display of the entry in the directory to her liking.
Let me know if there’s a better way to input the info to generate a URL without the credentials.
Thanks in advance,

Sorry, but the URL is created from the name. What you can do, is copy the entry as I suggested, change the name to create the URL you want, then edit then entry and change the name as you want it displayed.
For example, copy the “Crystal Healing With Brandy – Brandy Thomas, MS, CCH” entry, change the name to “Crystal Healing” (or whatever you wish the URL to be) and save it. The edit the new entry and then change the name back to “Crystal Healing With Brandy – Brandy Thomas, MS, CCH”. A little convoluted but most have no need to edit permalinks.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantThat makes sense. I was missing the “change the name back” piece.
Much appreciated :)
Cheers,
