    Hi, I’m creating a directory of grants for a non-profit and I want to change the labels on date entries from ‘Birthday’ to ‘Start Date’ and ‘Deceased’ to ‘End Date’ I tried adding str_Birthday=’Start Date’ to the short code but that didn’t do anything. Can you tell me what to do?

    The list of support shortcode options for Excerpt Plus can be found on this page. There are not options for those which is why they did not work.

    Can you change these, yes… here’s a link to a QuickTip that gives you the details.

    The Say What? plugin worked well.
    One other issue. The Organization name shows up on my webpage but not the Department. Do I have to specifically add that field to the code for it to show up?

    What is the entry type? An org and an individual?

    If the entry type is an individual, neither the org or dept so, by default, but can be turned on using a shortcode option like so:

    [connections show_org='true']

    This will only be shown when you expand to show the details.

    If the entry type is an org, the org name will be displayed as the entry name but no dept will be shown. To show the dept, you would use the same shortcode as above. And like an individual the dept will only be shown when you expand to show the details.
