    Hi Steven,

    It’s Ellie here again. Thank you for your help in my last question (wish I could give you 10 stars for my review)!

    How can I change the width of my Select Category bar? Is there a shortcode for it or do I need to edit in the PHP file to do it? I want my bar to look like yours in your sample page here (https://connections-pro.com/add-on/excerpt-plus/) and aligned on the same line as the search bar.

    See attached picture, which shows the top of my company’s directory and the current design of the Select Category.

    I took a look at your site…

    The category select is full width do to a CSS declaration in the WP Job Manager plugin. It has this:

    .chosen-container {
    width: 100%!important;
}

    Unfortunately with the way it is defined it will affect all plugins which use the Chosen library to enhance select drop downs. The author should make a more defined selection so it only affects their plugin.

    Even more unfortunate, since the !important flag was used there is no way to fix it from my side. You’ll have to contact the WP Job Manager dev to get this fixed. Apologies! I wish I could do more.
