Under http://ccpio.org/about/members/ I have listed multiple shortcodes for each state category EX: [connections category_name='AK']. This results in only allowing Alaska entries to see the Name page EX: http://ccpio.org/about/members/name/mara-rabinowitz/.
All other individuals placed under a category EX: [connections category_name='DC'] do not show the NAME page EX: http://ccpio.org/about/members/name/kathleen-arberg/.
How do I sort on the page for each state and still allow the NAME page to show the data?
You’ll need to use the home_id shortcode option. Here’s how:
[connections]shortcode, nothing else, no options.
home_id=nto each shortcode instance on the page where n is the page ID of the “Member” page.
Now all the links to the entry detail/profile view will resolve to the new “Member” page and can be displayed.
Hope that helps, let me know.
Thank you very much! Your solution worked perfectly and gave me my smile back. Thanks again.
