ParticipantIs there a simple way to make the categories on the front end display as Radio buttons and instant search like the drop down?

You want to show both a radio group and the category drop down?
You could add it to the template with this function.
You would use it like this:
cnTemplatePart::walker( 'term-radio-group' );Probably the simplest place to put this is in the
categorySelect()function in theslim-plus.phpfile.Does that help?

ParticipantThat was the code I needed. I didn’t need the drop down, so I commented that out. Is there a simple fix to filter the result upon radio selection (like the drop down) without the need to click the search button?

You need to add a bit of javascript to the
slim-plus.jsand slim-plus.min.js` file. This SO page shows basically what you need to do:http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18564205/html-submit-form-on-radio-button-check
The code should be (I think) this:
$('#slim-plus input[name="cn-cat"]').change(function(){ $('#cn-slim-plus .cn-form').submit(); });05/14/2015 at 12:45 pm #334257Rocky Losli
ParticipantHey, thanks for the tip. I had to modify the code you gave me just a tad. You can see the changes I had to do for it to work. The ID selectors were causing it to fail.
$('input[name="cn-cat"]').change(function(){ $('form.cn-form').submit(); });Cheers
