    Hi. Is there a way to have the categories display as something other than a drop-down, so that their choices are immediately visible and more apparent?

    @ Dani

    There’s the category widget in the Widget Pack. If you choose to use that, you should disable the category drop down in tile Plus.

    Got it. Thanks. How can I hide the Uncategorized and other categories, even if by php (which I do have knowledge of)? If by php, which file and where within?

    Hi. This kind of relates to a couple of my open tickets.

    When you just use the category widget, there is no way to reset the search to show all again, UNLESS you activate the Show All option BUT the Show All option just shows the company names. How can I get either the Show All to show all the cards or to keep the Clear Search button there at the top? I have knowledge of php; if I need to edit one of the php files, please let me know which one, where, and to what.

    You could likely use the cn_get_terms_args filter found here.

    re: category reset
    The “Show All” is simply a link to the directory home page. So you could add a link to the widget. The file would be ../plugins/connections-widgets/includes/class.widgets.php. The function which outputs the category list is public function widget($args, $instance) on line 171. Hope that helps!
