    Hello, I have read the most recent post about categories, but it wasn’t very helpful. I don’t know how to direct the categories so that the search can lead to the same page and not a Blog Page.

    Everytime I click on one of the categories in the list, it directs me to the blog page. I have configured the Business Directory page in Settings. :S

    HELP!

    I’m assuming, without a link to look at, that you have the Connections shortcode on the same page as you have set as the Static Home front page. The Static Front page is a WordPress setting found on the Settings : Reading admin page.

    If you have the Connection shortcode on this page and the Directory Home page set to the Static Front page, WordPress will direct all queries to the blog page. Without getting too technical, this is because of a feature built into WordPress called canonical redirect. I am still working on a way to work around this.

    The solution is to put the Connections shortcode on any page but the Static Front page and set the Directory home page to that page instead.

    I hope that helps clear this up for you.
