ParticipantI’m using Connections 8.6.12 with Slim Plus 2.0.1 as the active template. Using this shortcode:
[connections list_type="individual" template="card" category='26' show_alphaindex='FALSE' show_alphahead='FALSE']
I’m not seeing the images (or placeholders) uploaded for any of the individual contacts, all of which have their image options set to “Display”. The Circle template works fine and displays the images as expected. I updated to version 8.8 hoping that would fix the issue, but the same behavior persists.
I’ve tried looking through and adjusting several of the options in the Customizer, but still the images do not show up.
Can you help me figure out what’s going on here? Here’s the page I’m using the shortcodes on:

It seems the Default Card template is being used. It is manually being set by the shortcode option
template='card'
. The image should show but it appears that the template may have been altered or perhaps the Slim Plus template files are being used as override files for the Default Card template. You would have had to move files around on the server to do that, so you could undo it.My suggestion, remove
template='card'
from the shortcode. Ensure the single entry template option is disabled. Verify that the Slim Plus template is the active template on the Connections : Templates admin page.Hope this helps, let me know.

ParticipantI removed the card option from the shortcode, ensured the single entry template option was disabled, and verified the Slim Plus template was the active template. There was no change to the look of the page.
I also assumed the card template had been altered, which is why I thought updating to the new version would refresh that template. Is that not the case? I only have WordPress access to the system this is hosted on, so my options are limited on how to address this; however, looking at the System Information tab under Settings it shows this:
— Connections Folder Permissions
Image Path Exists: Yes
Image Path Writeable: YesTemplate Path Exists: No
Template Path Writeable: NoCache Path Exists: Yes
Cache Path Writeable: YesCould there be a permissions/path problem?

RE: I also assumed the card template had been altered, which is why I thought updating to the new version would refresh that template. Is that not the case?
Yes, but only if the template was altered within the plugin folder. If you used a template override file as described in the tutorial and it was placed it one of the recommended paths, then that file would be safe from plugin updates.
I suggestion looking in those folder paths to see if a template override was used. If it was, then you’ll need to remove it. I do recommend backing the file update before you delete it just in case you need it at a later date.
I do see you seem to have a custom Slim Plus template too, named “Slim Plus Courses”. I suppose that too somehow interfering but that is impossible for me to know by looking at the page.
Another, possibility is that you seeing an old version of the page. If you have server caching or a caching plugin, make sure to clear all caches.
Hope this helps!
