GuestI think I’m experiencing the conflict with S2Member that is mentioned many times here, but I can’t seem to find the fix. When I deactivate our S2Member plugin, Link works as it should to match directory entries with WP Users, but when S2Member is activated, Link no longer works.
Can you please outline the steps to resolve this issue. Thanks.

The issue is that s2Member is doing a custom redirect immediately after a user logs in. Nothing wrong with that but the action for Link never has the opportunity to run. I have a working update that works around this but I’m still testing it because I also relax the method that is used to create a link and I need to make sure this does create any security holes…
Any way, if you can grant me a temp admin account, I can make a very minor edit to Link that will ensure it runs before the s2Member redirect. It’s safe and will not interfere with s2Member.

GuestOkay, I can setup a temp admin for you. Please tell me the best way to get you the login – not sure how to do a private post here. Thanks.

To submit a private post you need to login with your user/pass that you used to make the purchase. Alternatively, you can send it using the contact link at the bottom of this page. If you do, please reference this forum thread so I know the two are related.
Thanks!

Guesthmmm any chance you can make this fix for us too? or tell me what needs to happen?
this would hopefully alleviate us having to hand-hold all our members re-submitting their basic info to create their directory listing? is that accurate?or at least allow me, from admin, to connect them together??

The changes mentioned in this support topic have been released in the latest version of Link. Which version do you have installed? If it isn’t the latest, I highly recommend updating.
