ParticipantThanks so much for your email. Rest assured I tried all of the steps you suggested. I also followed your advice from two weeks ago and this was formatted in Google Sheets.
I deleted all of the members on file, so the directory is currently blank. I am trying to import a CSV file. . I go to Import CSV, upload the file and then hit the “MAP” button and then it goes to a blank screen that only says “Connections: CSV Import”. I’ve tried this multiple times. I do not navigate away; I never get the “Import Complete” message. I have read all of the documentation. Can you tell me how I can import this file, please?
Thanks for your help.Attachments:

The file appears to be fine and has imported fine in my test site without any issues.

ParticipantHi Steve –
Oddly I didn’t receive your reply, but am responding here because I’ve discovered that the Import CSV Extension on this site was WAAAAAYYY out of date, I inherited this site from someone else… I have just repurchased the extension and am installing it now. And that should do it.
I will let you know.
Thanks again.11/05/2018 at 5:05 pm #476491Steven Zahm

Ahhh… being out of date could potentially cause that issue.

ParticipantThe import looks good, except this membership chooses one or two categories. Only one imported. What did I do wrong?

Keymaster@ Jill
Were both categories in separate columns like in the CSV file that was originally attached?

ParticipantYes. I mapped both to “Categories”.

Mapping both like that will not import both … just like if you would try to map last name twice. Follow the instructions in the FAQ that I linked to in my last reply.

Guest@ Steve – Thank you so much for your patient direction. I was getting in a panic! The directory looks terrific.
