ParticipantHello,
The attached document shows that in settings under Display -> Entry Actions I have unchecked the “show the Address book link” checkbox. The image below shows that the link still appears.
The shortcode on the page does not have any parameters defined and so I expect that the settings would be applied.
The site uses the Genesis framework.
Any ideas as to how I can disable the Add to Address Book” link?
Thanks
Philip

Please update Connections to resolve the issue. Version 0.7.9 released in mid September contained the fix.

Ok, it seems when I merged my dev version with production it didn’t remove some old files. This is causing the old style template to be loaded rather than the new.
Log in to your site using FTP and delete the
template.php
file andmeta.php
file found here:
../wp-content/plugins/connections/templates/card/
I’ll remove those files from the production files and update the WP install zip sometime this weekend.

I’ve done that and the only files left in the directory are card.php and thumbnail.png.
However, it doesn’t seem to have made any difference.

The you must be using a template other than the Default Entry Card template. Which one are you using?

It was the Table Entry Card. I have changed it to the Default Entry Card and it now seems to work.
Many thanks for your prompt attention to my issue.

Ok, same instructions but you would delete the files from this folder:
../wp-content/plugins/connections/templates/card-tableformat/

Just visit the Connections : Templates admin page. As a suggestion, I recommending setting up your site so error messages are put in the error_log file rather than shown on the site. If you not familiar with how to do that, your host should be able to help.
