    The email and address fields etc. can be individually set to private or public. How can I set the bio field to be private but keep the others as public?

    The bio and notes fields do support shortcodes, so, you could use a plugin that has a shortcode that limits the view if its content to only logged in users. There are a few in the WordPress.org plugin repository. I can’t remember their names off the top of my head, sorry.
