ParticipantI’ve had various issues over the last several months and I can not pinpoint an exact time when the “view all” stopped working on a website. But I was informed today that it is not. So what could cause the problem and how do I fix it? I would say it has worked fine for 6 years now..so not sure what the problem is now.
website: http://www.stgeorgebusinessalliance.com
Basically, in settings, I have the box checked under results listings as seen here https://www.stgeorgebusinessalliance.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Capture1.png
The view all link appears at the top of each directory category page as it should and seen here
https://www.stgeorgebusinessalliance.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Capture2.png
But the View all link only returns about 40 or so listings and there should be 190 active listings as indicated in our connections manager (all listings appear on the website, but not in the view all link)as seen here

Where is the missing link? And is there a workaround that would give me a clean list of all the listings on a single page, just names. I tried a few shortcodes but they always returned more than I wanted. Export gives me active and inactive. This organization needs to reconcile their membership and they aren’t very patient for technical difficulties. Input is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

My guess is that it is not broken and doing what it is supposed to do…
Looking at the site, it appears you may be using the category shortcode option (and perhaps others). What is the exact shortcode used to embed the directory?
It appears you used the category shortcode to display the Affiliates category, so when you click view all, you are viewing all entries within that category, not all entries in the directory.
To view all, you must remove any of the shortcode options which limit the display of entries such as the category shortcode option.
Why is this? Because “View All” is defined by the limitations set by the shortcode options used (set by the admin).
In regards to the list, I suggest using the CSV Export All tool. Import the CSV file into Excel, or similar app, and filter the list based on the Visibility column … this assumes you are the entry Visibility status to determine if an entry is active or not.
Hope this helps! let me know.

ParticipantAwesome. You were right…the main directory page shortcode had been altered. That is the only page that uses a shortcode. All the rest are custom menu links to the category. Thank you!
