ParticipantHi Steven,
Yesterday I updated plugins in WordPress (including Connections; I don’t think that cMap updated since I show that 8/16/2018 is the timestamp on the cMap directory). Once updates had finished, I noticed a message associated with Connections on the plugins page that our version of PHP is too old and is no longer compatible with Connections. Our server is running PHP 5.3.10. I am in the process of migrating our website over to a different server, which is running PHP 7, but until that happens, we have some issues that have apparently arisen.
After seeing the incompatibility message, I reverted back to the previous version of Connections (I had saved a backup before running plugin updates).
The issues that are now taking place are as follows:
- The A-Z search listing redirects the user to our homepage instead of filtering by the alphabetical letter that was selected.
- If you type someone’s name into our Google search box and it pulls up a directory link for that person, when clicked on it redirects the user to our homepage.
- If you click on a person’s name from within the directory it kicks the user back to the homepage.
I would really appreciate any help that you are able to provide. More details to come in the next message. Thank you!

Keymaster@ Darrin
Navigate to the WordPress Permalinks settings admin page. That’s it, do nothing else :)
Since I had a login, that what I did. That forces WP to flush and recreate its rewrite rules. I suspect the plugin juggling left WP in a state where the Connections rules were flushed (meaning, no longer working).
Hope this helps!
