ParticipantI use the Upcoming Birthdays Widget on the home page. When someone’s birhday comes up is shows up there and it creates a link. The link that is created is not broken.
It seems to use the permalink structure to create the link, instead of directing to the page with the [connection] shortcode.I use the permalink structure /%postname%/. The link created uses the last post created, i.e. the link is: http://<websiteURL>/<lastBlogPostName>/name/<nameofUser>. But is must be: http://websiteURL/pagewithConnectionShortcode/name/<nameofUser>
Right now when someone’s birthday comes up, the link is broken. When I set the permalink to be the name of the page where the [connections] shortcode is used, it works. But then other links are broken.
Do you have any solution for this behavior?

Sounds likes the theme is causing the issue to me. Is the Birthday widget in a widget sidebar defined by the theme or are you showing it by some other means? Also, which version of the Widget Pack do you have installed?

ParticipantYes I am using a place on the homepage which is pre-made in the theme. It is being places via a widget.
I have version 1.0 of the Widget plugin.Might you know some directions for an easy solution, of is it better to turn off the links and only show the names of the people?

Can you please update the Widget Pack to version 1.2. It is a free download via your Purchase History. I believe that should fix the issue. please let me know if it does not.
