ParticipantNot sure when this started but all of the birthdays and anniversaries are correct in our Connections database but when they are displayed on the site through a template, they are off by one day. They are one day behind actually. So instead of say July 4th, it will display July 3rd. I thought it was possibly just out dated versions of the templates but I just bought the new Pro Pack and installed them but it is still off by one day. Any ideas? Thanks!

Which version of Connections do you have installed? Is it the latest or some older version?
Also, make sure the timezone is set correctly on the WordPress General Settings admin page. I recommend choosing one of city named timezones vs one of the UTC offset time zones. Doing this ensures that time shifts such as Daylight Savings are properly taken into account by WordPress.
Hope this helps, let me know.

ParticipantThe timezone is set correctly. We are in Washington DC and have selected New York. We are running version 8.39. The templates were old, version 2.1 of cMap but I purchased the bundle and updated the templates.

Out of date templates would not affect dates… it doesn’t work that way. But that was a really, really old version of cMap. Great to hear my efforts in maintaining backward compatibility allow such old items to still work.
Back to the issue at hand…
When you edit the entry, are the dates correct or off by a day? Are they off only when being viewed?

ParticipantThe dates only are off when viewing them via any of the templates. When editing them, they are correct. I’ve edited the records, even changed the dates and they still show via the templates, one day behind the date that is visible when I am editing them. I can make an admin account for you if you would like to look around. I have been away for two years so I really have no idea what the guys did to maintain the site while I was gone.

Can you please open a support ticket? Please include a temp admin account login and a login to the web host control panel so I can use the myPHPadmin database tool.
I’m going to mark this as resolved. When I receive the support ticket with the required login details, I’ll take a look asap.
