ParticipantI am using the latest WP and all Connection plugins are the latest version.
I switched from “market” to “Cmap” in order to get a drop down category list…
But now, none of the Bio nor the Map links are working.
And the business card itself seems huge…much larger than with market.
So…any way to fix all of this?
I appreciate your software and all the features…but this glitch is not making my clients very happy…:(
Thanks for your help.

ParticipantI think I got the bio’s and maps working again…but the general space the listing takes up is still rather large..
Or is there a way to make the pictures larger or text larger to fill in the space?

thanks so much!

The template looks right … to enlarge the logo, go to the Connections : Settings admin page and click the Images tab. You can adjust the logo size there.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantThanks,
Is there any way to get rid of the image border all together?

On the same page, in the same sections as the logo image size, change the “Crops Mode” to “Resize proportionally adjusting the size of scaled image so there are no margins added.”
Hope that helps!

ParticipantYes, that is how I have it set…but is there a way to get rid of the border completely?

I see. My guess is that the logos were uploaded before version 8.1 (which was only released about 4 months ago). Unfortunately, the logo scaling and cropping was applied to the logo that was uploaded overwriting the version that was uploaded. This pretty much exactly how WordPress works too except Connections added a margin as needed to make sure the image was at the size set on the settings page. So, previous 8.1, the only way to change the scale and crop of a logo (images too) was to reupload the logo/image. With that said… the only way to get rid of those margins in this case is to reupload the logos.
Version 8.1 and greater has far superior image processing now, the image/logo settings can be changed at anytime and Connections will create new the images as needed, never affecting the original (one exception) uploaded image/logo. (WordPress does not even do this natively at present, you need a plugin.)

ParticipantYes, in the following example…1 logo was added after the 8.1 upgrade..
and I understand the difference in pics..but still would like to remove
the gray frame that is around each pic.http://awesomescreenshot.com/05e4dc6o29
And is there any way to make the text bigger (font) on the listings?
There seems to be alot of white space between logo and the business name, phone, etc.
Thanks so much for your help!

Add the following to the theme’s custom CSS area.
span.cn-image-style { background: none !important; border: none !important; }
That will remove the styling for the image area border.
