ParticipantAfter the last update 8.6.9, the backend no longer displays anything. The front end still seems to work OK.
Using WordPress 4.8.1, PHP 5.7.
I tried dropping back to Connections 8.6.8, but still the same.

I do not believe the issue is the version of Connections. The major difference between the two is the code for how vCards are created which is only loaded when downloading a vCard.
Did you do any other updates in or around the same time you applied the update to Connections? If you did, perhaps there is a conflict now that was not present before. My first suggestion is to try the plugin conflict checks:
Another suggestion is to check the server PHP error logs. Perhaps there is something in there that can help narrow the issue. If you do not know where to find this, you’ll have to ask you webhost.
My last suggestion, perhaps the memory allocated to PHP is being exhausted. Try increasing it. Here’s an excellent post which describes several methods on how to do increase the memory.
Hope this helps, let me know what you learn.

ParticipantThe problem seems to be a plugin conflict with RSVPMaker version 4.7.2. When I deactivated RSVPMaker, the Connections backend started working again. So I dropped back to RSVPMaker version 4.7.1, and that appears to be compatible.
So I have Connections 8.6.9 and RSVPMaker 4.7.1 working. I will post on the RSVPMaker forum about this problem, also.

I installed RSVPMaker version 4.7.2 and I am experiencing the same issue on my test site. It is a head scratcher … no error messages or anything. I’m downloading their code now to see if I can track down the source on the conflict. Give me an hour or so and I’ll report back.
Apologies for the trouble!

I located the issue. It is a bug in RSVPMaker version 4.7.2. They are accidentally overwriting the
$_GET['page']
global variable. I can work around this but it would be best that they correct this. I’ve already reported this to them on GitHub. I did see your post to the wp.org so I’ll also reply to that thread for completeness.Again, my apologies for the trouble!
