GuestHi there,
I installed the authored and link components to list blog posts on each profile page where relevant.
Since the last plugin update this has stopped working.
Can you let me know what I need to do to link this functionality back up?
Many thanks,
Dave.

Which version of Authored is installed? Can you share a link to a page that should show the output from Authored?

GuestHi Steve,
Sorry for slow reply. This is an example of the page that should show posts:
http://teacherstern.macace.net/our-people/name/rod-cowper/
Version of Authored is 1.1
Let me know anything I can do to resolve.
Many thanks for your help,
Dave.

Hmmm… it still works for me. I can not see any reason for it to stop working. Could I get a temp admin account so I can debug this for you? It is really the only way I’ll be able to figure this out since there do not seem to be any errors or anything else on the page for me to go on.

When I logged in … I went to the Connections : manage admin page. Rod Cowper was not linked to the user account for Rod. YOu can see who is link to who in the last column on the Connections : Manage admin page. What I did was install the User Switching plugin and switched to that user. Since user switching bypasses the login process the account was not linked automatically, but the edit my directory entry link still checks for a match. So, all I did, as Rod, was clicked that link and click update so the link would be save. Now the articles show as expected.
The only reason a link would be broke, that I can think of, is that either the user or the entry it was linked to was deleted.
Any way, I hope that helps!

GuestHi Steve,
Thanks very much for doing that for me. I can now see where to check the linking. The user switching feature is also very useful.
Great service – thanks again,
Dave.
