I have been using Cmap for sometime. I am wondering if you have plans to add a fee option onto Connections and/or Cmap? I have a site I would like to introduce some fee based options for the listings, ie extra features that can be added if the user pays a fee.

I would be open to something other than Cmap — I have used Cmap because it has worked on a responsive design, and I am thinking you may have told me once? that the other templates were not yet responsive — but maybe that has now changed.

Basically the need is to be able to have a fee based option.

My plans for this is to actually to create an extension that integrates with membership plugins like Restrict Content Pro and/or eCommerce plugins like Easy Digital Downloads rather than building my own.

Humm, I was hoping for a solution that would allow a business to add an entry to the business directory (for approval) and would allow for them to make a payment via Paypal for the entry.

That’s exactly what would happen with the integration with those plugins. Just instead of building it into Connections I would integrate with another to facilitate handling payments and recurring payments and such. No every user wants or needs this type of feature but those that do, from my experience, already run some type of membership plugin. Integrating with those would provide for a better experience. When will this happen … honestly I thought I’d have my first integration done by now so I can not give an eta at this time.
