    Hello,

    Is there an option/short code that i can place that will list all of the names starting with that letter. For example i’m looking for something like: if i put [connections last_name='B'] I would like all of the members with a last name starting with B to be listed.
    Is there anything like that?

    Sorry, no, there is not a shortcode filter but it is possible to filter by character like so:

    http://www.domain.tld/directory-home-page/char/B

    Is it possible to do that but just have a list of names like
    /directory-home-page/view/all/ but only for a single letter.

    Yes, if you set the template the the Names template for the All template type and then go to the Connections : Settings admin page and enable the Single Entry template option under the Display tab. You can then control the active template for each entry type by activating your desired template under the corresponding template type on the Connections : Templates admin page. Hope that makes sense.

    Yup, that is what I was wanting. But now i have a issue, If i click on somebody’s name i dont get any information.
    Using the name template

    @ Brian

    Are you using the template shortcode option? If you are, then remove it. That will override the settings that I gave in my previous reply.
