Hi, I just purchased the tile and excerpt plugins.
I would like to align the tiles horizontally in the center of my page instead of being left justified. Currently there is more white space on the right than left.
Adding something like this to the theme’s custom CSS area should work. However, if you are using a responsive theme, this will break the fluid layout because of the fixed width being set so the auto left/right margin will work.
margin: 0 auto;
Hope that helps. Oh … depending on your theme, you’ll have to tweak the width.
hi thanks for the quick reply.
I am using Avada theme and yes it is a responsive theme.
I tried using a % for the width and that looks a little better and doens’t seem to wreck the fluidity.
Is there any other way?
A percentage really would not work well at all. I can not think of any other way to do this because to center a container div, that contain must have a defined width ion order for the left/right margin auto to work.
