ParticipantI have some custom text displayed above the submit form on the /submit page that is displayed when the user is logged in and the /submit URL is present. The form is submitted via Ajax – so the URL does not change and the user is still logged in and therefore the text is still displayed – is there a way to let the page know that the form has been submitted that way I could NOT display the text?
I thought about using the redirect upon submission option but the text will still be there until the redirect.
Thanks
Also the option to send an email that an entry has been submitted is not working, why? I could start a new thread for this if you like

The only solution I can offer is to suggest redirecting to a completely different page.

I suspect you are testing while logged in as the admin… Connections knows you’re logged in and that you added the entry so it will not send the email because it knows it was you who added the entry so a notification does not need sent.
Here’s the docs which cover a little more about the Form email notifications.
Hope this helps!

ParticipantI am testing while logged in as the directory user not the admin. Are you saying the email doesn’t get sent to the admin for moderation when a regular user (Subscriber in this case) submits a profile?
Thanks

Logged in as a user you, as an admin, would receive a notification of entry entry submission if is reouted to the moderation queue. If you allow submission from users without moderation, no, you would not receive an email notice. Does that help?

I do have a beta version which does have the option to send a notification when entries are routed to the “approved” queue, (not moderated). If you need, I can forward you an advanced copy. Let me know.
