    I have a workflow in mind, but can’t see if it can be done.

    I have a list of organisations I’d like to import/add and I’d then like to enable contacts to add themselves to those organisations (without adding second variations of the organisation) is there a way using any of the add-ons or additional code – to present a user with a dropdown of organisations to choose from when they add their details? or any way to prevent them from adding an organisation and a way for admin to link them up to their organisation afterwards?

    Sorry, no. This could be done with custom code that would change the org field to a drop down of of org names already entered in Connections. This would be a bit more complex than just a snippet of code I could give you here in the forums. I do offer customization services if you are interested.
