ParticipantI have purchased “slim” and I would like to add a social media choice for my website. How would I add Houzz.com to the available social media choices and a place to add each person’s account?

Slim and Slim Plus already does show the social media by default. Also, in Connections 8.1.7, you can select Houzz as an option.
What you add social media connections, are they not displayed? What is the exact shortcode you are using? Can you share a link to the page with the issue.

GuestHi Steven, I’ve run into a snag with adding the Houzz icon and link. The new links/icons display perfectly in Safari, but in Firefox and Chrome, they don’t show up at all on some of the profiles.
See website page here: http://capid.org/find-a-designer/
In the last list on the page, Michelle C. has the Houzz link/ icon on her listing and it is displaying, but Bob S. does not. If you check it on a Safari browser, both are showing up. (this has happened for several other members as well. )Please advise.
thanks,

On the entries which are not showing… it sounds like you set the ‘Visibility’ to ‘Private’. The selection is on the far right of the metabox when you add a social media network. Make sure it is set to public.

GuestYes – that was my first thought, too, but they are all set to “public.”

I see you’re using WP Super Cache, try clearing your page cache. I have a feeling that when you’re not logged in you’re seeing an older cached version of the page and while you’re logged in, you’re seeing the page not cached.
Let me know.
