Participanthi steve,
many thanks for size and info showing. adding the custom css worked!
Now, is there a way i can show the bio and or notes in lower l. to click to open as in the c-map template.
I could not follow your 2012 post. the templates structure seems to have changed.04/22/2014 at 11:29 am #289289Steven Zahm

You could, but the result would be anything but pretty. Others have successfully added it only to remove it again. The design of Tile is based around the fixed width and height. Adding a variable height to the mixed will create undesirable effects. Tile Plus instead relies on the user to simply click thru to the single entry view of the template where both the bio and notes are displayed without requiring further user interaction.
If you’d like to give it a go anyway… I’m not sure which post you’re referring to, but yes the template structure has changed a few times throughout the years. The next release of Connections take the current iteration of the structure a step forward by easily allowing one to override the template files in an update safe manner. Any back on topic … the 2012 instruction probably still apply, just that you need to make the changes to the
card.php
file rather than thetemplate.php
file. And that the template files are now in the plugins folder rather than the connections_templates folder since template are now full fledged plugins. So, the folder for Tile Plus will be connections-tile-plus.I hope that helps.

ParticipantSteve, your explanation why the bio/notes fields are not included is understandable, but, is there a reference which lists the available templates and the fields that can be displayed in the template?

The list of available templates… the free ones included or the ones for sale, both? The free one can be found on the Connections : Templates admin page and the one for sale, click the Templates link at the top of the page.
The Default Card template shows all fields except bio and notes, the Bio Entry Card shows all fields except the notes. The Table Entry Card is just like the Default Entry Card, no differences. The Profile Entry Card just shows the bio.
All the templates for sale can show all fields. The differences is where and in what style. Each template if configured with different defaults on which fields to show to fit the designed purpose. To see the defaults, visit the demo pages for the templates to get the best feel of the template.
I hope that sufficiently answers your question.
