ParticipantHi Steve,
I seem to be in a bit of a mess with both trying to activate a cmap license and template within a new website I’m setting up. When activating the license for cmap using my pro pack license (I updated yesterday) I get “License entered is not for this item.”…got a feeling it’s all to do with when I purchased my first Pro Pack…also got cmap network activated and cannot activate the license within my new website (link 1 / Image 1)…as I said a complete mess! Here’s what I’m trying to do…
I’m trying to set-up a NEW cmap Connections page (image 1: Notice the drop down and search box are not functioning) to function the same as a test cmap page on a different website (Image 2). I’m not aware of doing anything different, so I’m thinking it’s something to do with the way I’ve got it all setup. Both sites are in maintenance mode and I can give you a username and password to access them, but I don’t want to post it here for security reasons…I can post them securely if you require them. (Note: I’ve also set up the same child connections css files the same on as the original test connections page (Image 2). On my new site it’s pulling back the information but the cmap template isn’t working on the new website. (Image 1)
I’m running a Multisite Sub Domain installation and I’m using the following shortcode on both pages:
[connections template="cmap" enable_search='true' enable_pagination='true' page_limit=25 pagination_position='after' enable_category_select='true' show_empty_categories='false' show_category_count='false' category=3 enable_category_by_root_parent='TRUE' enable_map='true' enable_bio='true' enable_bio_head='FALSE' enable_note='true' enable_note_head='FALSE' show_addresses='true' show_phone_numbers='true' show_email='true' show_im='true' show_social_media='true' show_dates='true' show_links='true' address_types='work' phone_types='workphone' email_types='work' image='logo' image_width=162 image_height=100 image_fallback='block' tray_image='photo' tray_image_width=NULL tray_image_height=NULL tray_image_fallback='none' map_zoom=7 map_frame_height=400 str_select='Select Resource Category' str_select_all='Show All Categories' str_image='No Logo Available' str_tray_image='No Photo Available' str_map_show='Show Map' str_map_hide='Hide Map' str_bio_head='Details' str_bio_show='Show Details' str_bio_hide='Hide Details' str_note_head='Notes' str_note_show='Show Notes' str_note_hide='Hide Notes' str_contact='Contact' str_home_addr='Home' str_work_addr='Work' str_school_addr='School' str_other_addr='Other' str_home_phone='Home Phone' str_home_fax='Home Fax' str_cell_phone='Mobile' str_work_phone='Work Phone' str_work_fax='Work Fax' str_personal_email='Personal Email' str_work_email='Work Email' name_format='%prefix% %first% %middle% %last% %suffix%' contact_name_format='%first% %last%' addr_format='%line1% %line2% %line3% %city% %state% %zipcode%' phone_format='%number%' email_format='%address%' link_format='%title%' width=590 background_color='#FFFFFF' background_gradient=FALSE]
I hope this makes sense!

Hard to tell much from the screenshots. One thing I can see is that the CSS for Connections is not being loaded maybe the JS too which would cause the JS for the template to fail. Just a guess at this point though.
First, lets try this… make sure both Connections and cMap are activated on the subsite. Do not network activate them. cMap might be fine network activated, but Connections definitely needs activated on each subsite you plan to use it on.
As far as the license. I think there may have been an error in generating your support keys. I just resent the sale confirmation that would have fresh keys. Use the cMap key to activate cMap. That should fix that issue.
As far as login, if you want to send that, send it via the Contact link at the bottom of the page. Please paste a link to this forum thread so I can relate the two. Thanks!

ParticipantHi Steve,
License is not an issue now.
I’ve still got the broken page display on the new website.
I’ve done the following:
- Network deactivated Connections plugin.
- Activated Connections/cMap locally on both websites; no change to broken page.
- Recopied ‘connections-templates’ directory to ensure child themes are identical.
- Tested pages without custom css to ensure that’s not the reason.
- Checked plugins, biggest difference is WooCommerce on the directory page that is not working on Counselling Websites.
EMAIL SENT TO YOUR CONTACT EMAIL:
I’ve sent you admin login details a WooCommerce system report: might give you a clue of some sort.

MY AIMS:
I want to have one data source and be able to pull back subsets of that data source on different sub domains within the multisite installation; I’ve got define( ‘CN_MULTISITE_ENABLED’, false ); in my wp-config. So far testing it works fine in terms of pulling back the data.

Looks like you had disabled the core CSS. After I enabled it, things looks good again.

ParticipantHi Steve,
No worries I found the setting in Connections > Settings > Advanced tab…I’d completely forgotten that setting existed.
Thanks
