ParticipantEvery time and I mean EVERY TIME I update, make changes, etc. this plugin returns a 500 Internal Server Error. I have to go to my cpanel and restore the files.
The domain is kandmspeednetworking.com

Something like this is exceedingly rare, one in many thousands. There must be something unique to the web host setup; maybe.
Could you walk me thru the exact steps that produce this error? I couldn’t tell if you mean updating the plugin or making and update to en entry in Connections. I think you mean updating Connections because you said you restore files in cPanel”. If that is the case, which version of Connections are you rolling back to? As you running cMap 3.0.3, it has to be 0.7.8 or newer.

ParticipantSteven,
Login to dashboard. Go to plugins, click on update now. It starts the upgrade and then I get a 500 internal error.
Plugin Name: Connections
* Plugin URI: http://connections-pro.com/
* Description: A business directory and address book manager.
* Version: 0.7.9.1AND Plugin Name: Connections cMap – Template
Plugin URI: http://www.connections-pro.com
Description: Connections cMap – Template
Version: 3.0.3Right now there is an upgrade; however, I can not update because I get the internal error every time.
I am using the calendar events pro as well–I’m thinking there is a conflict there with this theme.

Maybe it’s simple a memory issue. That would cause server errors. Take a look at this excellent blog post on multiple methods to increase the setting. Which method that will work for you depends on the web host. Just start with number 1 and work your way down the list.
Hope that helps!
