ParticipantHi @steven
Is there any way of exporting the entry ID’s? Also, is there any way of importing entry ID’s? I can import individual’s but not with assigned entry ID’s in a CSV file. Seems I can only import as a new user or update a current entry if the entry ID’s match.

ParticipantMaybe my source of confusion is the entry ID is not the same as the number that I assigned when using the custom entry order plugin? I was expecting the entry ID to reflect the number I assigned when using the custom entry order after exporting the entries to a csv file but I guess that’s not true? Also if I want to update an entry I should use the the entry ID and not the number I for custom entry order?

The entry ID has nothing to do with the custom entry order…. so yes, that would cause you some trouble if you were trying to use them interchangeably.
Just like WP does with pages and posts it will automatically assign an entry its unique ID when you add a new entry to the database. This ID is permanent and not changeable.
Here’s the link to a FAQ which explains how to locate the entry ID.
I think what you are asking is if there is a way to import/export the custom entry order value, correct? If it is, then, presently no. There is not. This is actually mostly due to oversight. I just added export support to the CSV Export All tool. I also added support for importing it via the CSV Import addon. The next update to both will include these changes. Of course they order calur will only have an impact is if the Custom Entry Order addon is installed and active.
Hope this helps, let me know.
