GuestIs there a way to limit the search to specific terms or put the highest matching result first? My client is having issues when searching for a specific address, the results are all words and numerical values as individual keywords. the matching address is not displayed first.

Yes, that is correct. Each “word” is searched for as a separate term when searching for matches.
You can, potentially, greatly improve search results by disabling the keyword search option in the settings. My first suggestion is to try that to see if that will meet your expectations.
Note, if you disable this option and you do not get receive any search results that is because the database does not support what is call FULLTEXT queries. If you find this is the case, you will need to enable the keyword search option.
You question did prompt me to make a quick tweak to the search where the full string is searched for first and should show first as a result. Would you lie to give this a try before I release an update?

Great, are you familiar with GitHub at all? If you are I can push up the code codes changes so you can download it. If you are not, I can email you a copy. Is the email address you have been using valid?

Thanks for confirming. I just sent you an advanced copy of the next release of Connections which contains the search tweak. Let me know if you do not receive it. Also, let me know if the tweak helps or not. Oh, did you try disabling the keyword search option? Did it help at all?

GuestDisabling keyword search had no effect.
I believe our security is blocking the attachment in the email. Would you mind re-sending to the address for this message. I am sorry about the extra steps, and thank you for taking care of this.
