ParticipantI am revisiting the plugin, but today I am unable to add entries. I am getting the following message: “ERROR: Entry could not be added.”

GuestI’m getting the same error after installing the plugin on a new site. I’ve used this plugin for years on another site. Would love to know what is causing this error! Thanks.

GuestI am receiving the same error message since installing the latest Connections update and updating to WP 4.4 a couple of days ago.

ParticipantSame with me, happened in conjunction with the 4.4 update and the most recent Connections update so not sure if either or both are a factor.

ParticipantIt is happening to me too.

KeymasterWordPress 4.4 altered a way it handled a specific value when inserting data into the database. I have to release an update to take that change into account. I plan on releasing it later today. Apologies for the trouble!

ParticipantI am able to add an entry, but I am still unable to import a CSV file. Would this be related to this issue?

Have you tried deactivated, deleted and reinstalled Connections (data is safe)? I’m assuming you are on version 8.5.6, yes?

ParticipantDeactivated, deleted and reinstalled. That made it work. I should have thought of that. Thanks!

Great to hear. The next update will negate the need to do that. I’m just holding off a little on it because I already released two back-to-back and I wanted to catch any other 4.4 compatibility issues that may have popped up. So far there are no other issues that I’m aware of so I’m planning on releasing on Friday (to give a little more time).
