GuestHi Steve (Sorry I posted this question under a resolved issue above)
Two things:
1. Search bar/textbox
I have had numerous issues with the search text box and drop-down. For example, being a church website, we have a number of congregations with names like St George’s…; St Giles…
If I search using “St Giles” – I get no result.
If I search using “St” – I get no result.
If I search using “Giles” – then I get a result. Why is that?2. Image Quality
I upload images under Logo since this seems to be the only visible image on the address card, but in the upload the image quality deteriorates. You have a place to upload Image, but where does that get displayed (setting?) and will the quality also be poor? Please help. Your plugin is the most used on our website.
Regards

On search, I answered you question in the other post.
The image quality is based entirely on the uploaded image and the type of scaling required to make it fit. I see you have the image set to 375x250px. So you would pre-scale and crop to that size [or same ratio as 375x250px, see below for math to figure out the ratio at the end of the post].
I see you are using the cMap template, you can use the image instead of the logo by using the following shortcode:
[connections image='photo' tray_image='none' str_image='No Photo Available']That will tell cMap to use the image instead of the logo and not to put the photo in the bio content tray.
Hope that helps!
Image Ratio:
Here’s the math…( width / height ) * new-height = new-width
OR
( height / width ) * new-width = new-height
