Which version do you have installed? If you have 1.0.3, please update to 1.0.4 to see if that resolves the issue.

ParticipantHi Steven,

If updating worked for you, then the likely issue was that the server is configured to show PHP warning notices. The update fixed a couple undefined index notices that PHP would throw if a variable was used before being defined. That is not a critical error, but the ajax response doesn’t know how to handle PHP notices. On production servers, it is best practice to configure PHP to log errors only, never show them. You don’t want these notices presented to end users. I hope that helps!
There is not a method to mass move entries from one category to another. You can only do that by running a SQL query in phpMyAdmin or similar tool.
The query would be something like this:
UPDATE *_connections_term_relationships SET term_taxonomy_id = X WHERE term_taxonomy_id = 1* would be the table prefix used for your WP install.
X would be the term ID from the*_connections_termstable forLandlords
1 should be the term ID forUncategorized, also from the*_connections_termstable.Also, You should manually adjust the
countin the*_connections_term_taxonomytable for bothLandlordsandUncategorized. I suggest making note of the counts before doing the query so you can easily figure out what the new counts are.I think that is it … I’ve never done it myself.
Hope that helps.

Participanthi,
But do you know why it doesnt create a category Landlords when importing ?

No, I’ve never had any reports of categories not being created. I would need to a copy of your CSV file to see if I could replicate the issue.

Yes, creating a
Categoriescolumn and adding the wordLandlordsis all that is required. Did you make sure it was mapped properly before clicking the import button?02/05/2014 at 10:12 am #279218Michal
Guestyes it was mapped properly. there was categories – Landlords. but it is in Uncategorized. can you give me proper mysql command through phpmyadmin to move it to Landlords category. I dont want to broke the database. thank you

I have not been able to duplicate categories not being imported, so I’m not sure why it would not work correctly for you.
To fix it thru phpMyAdmin, the instructions a gave you in this reply is accurate. I just tried it myself with 63 entries. I changed them from a Testing category to a Landlords category and update the counts and everything was fine.
Just make sure you substitute the correct db table prefix and category ID numbers correctly.
