GuestI deactivated Connections & Connections CSV to check a conflict with another plugin (there wasn’t one), but when I reactivated both, the profile photos on the site will not load. The photos are a-ok in the dashboard/manage complete list but not shown on individual entries. I tried ‘removing’ photo and re-uploading without success. Any thoughts on what havoc I have caused and more importantly, how to fix it? Thanks.

Sounds like a JavaScript error being caused by another plugin or the theme. I would need to see your directory to know for certain and offer a possible solution.

GuestHow do I give you this information? (Sorry, I’m not really code-literate.)

You would copy/paste the web address of your directory here.

GuestIt’s password protected for security reasons for my elderly club members. 2 yrs ago when I purchased CSV module we corresponded using helpdesk@… My I send login info there? BTW, I’d be happy to pay you for this. Whatever I paid for CSV was quite a while ago.

Log into your site with FTP. Go to this folder:
../wp-content/connection_imagesDelete this file:
.htaccessConnections adds that file so it is safe to delete. That file doesn’t block images from being displayed, but it seems that it does on a very small number of server setups. The next release of Connections will no longer add this file.
Any way, that should fix you up.

GuestRats-a-roni. Connections_images does not have a file .htaccess. The only files are the images and the ubiquitous index/silence is golden. Do you have a plan B? (I hope.)

The file is likely being hidden. If you’re using FileZilla, select the Force Showing Hidden Files option under the Server menu.
