ParticipantI’d like to create a directory of awardees and the year they received the award. This way I could search by category (award category) and who won which award in a particular award. If a recipient wins more than once, an additional year could be selected.
Best Sales Associate – 2012, 2010 etc.
Category would be Best Sales Associate
Year would be 2012, 2010
Can this be done already? I have tried to use Anniversary or one of the other dates, but they force me to use a specific date, not just year, which makes this difficult for search.

KeymasterThe only solution I can think of is create an Awards category and put the various awards under it and then create a Year category and put the various years under that category. Now when you create an entry you would select the award and the years won. But to select them both as a user you’ll have to use an unsupported experimental feature in cMap, enable_category_multi_select. Add that option to the shortcode and set it TRUE, see the example below.
[connections enable_category_multi_select='TRUE']
This will allow you users to select both an award and a year when making category selections.
Hope that helps.

ParticipantIs there a way to allow graduation date to be only an yyyy date? I working on a high school alumni directory the specific date isn’t needed.
Is there a way to edit to only require a year?

KeymasterSorry, it has to be a full date.
