GuestI am in the middle of redesigning a website and am planning on using your plugin with various templates and add-ons. I’ve read through the different templates and customizing, but curious as to how I could closely replicate the current site:
http://www.sandiegoabc.com/vendors/bridal-consultants
Where we have
- One(1) featured listing at the top – click and get to a detailed profile.
- Multiple (no limit) upgraded listings in the middle – click and get to a detailed profile. (Same profile as above) No limit on # of Upgraded Listings.
- Free Listing – Company Name and Phone Number only. No limit on # of listings shown.
I envision making a custom page for each parent category, and then using some short coding to display a subset of the the different categories within such as Consultant_Featured, Consultant_Upgraded, Consultant_Free
What template(s) or other items would I need to closely replicate the current page as shown.
Thanks,

Sorry for the delay in my reply!
I’ve read over your requirements and checked out the site you linked to. Honestly, I do not think Connections would be a good fit. I say this because there currently is not support marking entries as *featured*. That is on the wishlist and will happen at some point, But I could commit as to when and how this feature will be implemented. The other blocking item is that there is no way to to create entry levels with varying amount of info. This too is on my wishlist and when implemented will include a featured entry feature with a subscription model and gateway for payments.
I don’t know if another solution meets your requirements exist at the moment so I can’t even recommend another solution, sorry.
