ParticipantJust renewed my license for cMap template & downloaded & installed v 5.2.1. I followed the instructions to deactivate and delete old version, then installed & activated new 5.2.1 version. All went fine & it’s showing on the Plugins page as active, up-to-date v. 5.2.1.
However, when I go to Templates, it shows v 2.1.10 (my old version) as the still active template, and it doesn’t show anything newer for cMap as an available option.
The reason I was upgrading was because the directory doesn’t render right on mobile with that old version, and I know it says it’s mobile responsive now.
The directory is on a password-protected page for a client so I can’t give access.
Am I missing a step in how I should have deleted old files & installed new version?
All the data is there; it just looks exactly the same as it did before & I can’t seem to find a way to update to v. 5.2.1 (which is the version that’s installed, so I don’t understand…)
Thanks much!

Please try activating the Default template. A “Delete” button should now show up for the old cMap template. If it does, click it. If the button does not show, it is likely that Connections is not able to delete the template automatically. In that case, log into your site with FTP and navigate to the
../wp-content/connections_templates/folder and delete thecmapfolder. Now activate cMap on the Templates admin page.
Hope this helps, let me know.

ParticipantThanks – that got me the correct version of cMap going. However, it’s still not fully responsive and cuts off a bunch of the right side of each listing. For example, I can’t see the search bar.
I tried messing with the responsive widths but it’s not doing anything.
Anything I’m missing?
Thanks,

Without access to the page, it’s really hard to say. There was a
widthshortcode option used to set the card width in those old versions. Did you set that? If you did, remove the width option from the shortcode. This specific option for cMap was deprecated long ago but it will still honor it for backwards compatibility.01/09/2017 at 7:14 pm #406190sarah1202
ParticipantThank you! I knew I had set that width years ago when we first implemented this, but I couldn’t for the life of me remember where & for some reason never thought to check the shortcode on the page itself. Doh! It was there, I removed it, and now it works brilliantly. Thanks so much for responding so fast!

Great to hear it ended up being easily resolved!
