    Hi, Steven.
    I’ve updated the website with CMap and Forms plugin. I have translated the Form Catalan and have the ca_ES.mo file I uploaded the plugin folder Languages in forms, but does not update.
    I would change the names of the fields, for example Biography and Notes and limit the characters that the user can type. What would the code to do so. Thank you very much and have a great 2015

    Hello again, Steven. I have solved the issue of translation of all fields. Show me, if you can, how should I do to limit the number of characters that a user can enter in Bio and Notes fields

    Good to hear you figure out the translation issue. If I may, what was the issue?

    As for limiting the character input of those fields, sorry, but this is not possible.

    This work is being done throughout. I do not remember, but I think I downloaded a file “connections.pot” With this file I could do the translation into Catalan (a language of Spain) in all fields that needed to change without having to go through shortcodes.

    I also wanted to limit the input characters in the bio and notes fields to avoid that customers who filled the form makes the entry too large.

    Hi, Steven.
    I’m going crazy. Finally, users are being discharged businesses in the directory. We have already begun. It seems that everything works properly. The only problem, very importantly, the search field not working as expected. In this case, users have stores of fruits and vegetables. The NOTES field, now called Specialties, is where they write their fruits and vegetables. Originally is written in Catalan. If you look in Catalan everything works fine, but if you change the language, eg English and do a search for apple, the result is No Results.

    I’ve checked everything and do not know where the error is. Can I have help, please? If this works, it is the last thing left to do. Thanks for your help, as always.

    If ‘apple’ is not in the notes, it is not going to be returned as a search result. Connections will not attempt to translate words from one language to another and then do a search on the translated word. There is not a search anywhere that I’m aware of that does this unless you visit Google Translate which is highly specialized.
