    This is an awesome plugin. I set up a membership directory, but I am having some trouble getting some of the shortcodes to work properly.
    Here is what I have

    [connections template='slim-plus' image_fallback=none str_cell_phone='Cell' str_work_addr=' ' str_select='Select Chapter' str_select_all='Show All Chapters']

    All the things I have in there are working except the picture/image placeholder shows up. Also, I added a shortcode to show the alphaindex at the top of my directory and that didn’t work either.

    What am I doing incorrectly?

    What version of Slim Plus? Is that the exact shortcode you are using? To turn on the the character index, go to the Connections : Settings admin page and enable it under the Display tab. Alternative, you can use the shortcode option if you wish, it should work. When working with the shortcode, do not copy/past the option from the website unless you are pasting it into the Text editor, not the Visual Editor because the HTML will also be pasted from the website which breaks the proper functioning of shortcode. Hope that helps, let me know.

    Thank you, Steven. I enabled the character display per above. Now it is showing; that’s great. I am still trying to get the photo block to go away. I do understand that you have to enter the codes in the “text” view of the WP page editor.
