Just a FYI —
SiteGround is reporting that there are these code incompatibilities with the latest Connections 8.19 and PHP 7.1 ….
I am running on PHP 7.0 and that is fine — but since SiteGround is encouraging users to use PHP 7.1 just thought you would want to be aware of this —
<h2>FOUND 2 ERRORS AFFECTING 1 LINE</h2>
628 | ERROR | Function eregi() is deprecated since PHP 5.3 and removed since PHP 7.0; use preg_match instead
<h2> 628 | ERROR | Extension ‘ereg’ is deprecated since PHP 5.3 and removed since PHP 7.0 – use pcre instead.</h2>
<h2>FOUND 0 ERRORS AND 1 WARNING AFFECTING 1 LINE</h2>
<h2> 2588 | WARNING | Use of deprecated PHP4 style class constructor is not supported since PHP 7.</h2>
Just old code left in purely for backwards compatibility and is not actively used. Basically, a false positive.
Hope that helps!
