I have set up the home directory page as “Specialists”. So when one clicks on “View profile” the single item is appearing and the address is, for example, /specialists/name/martin-oldenburg/.
In order to show the same directory on another page of my website I have embed the shortcode [connection] there. The directory is being displayed properly, search and drop-down categories also work. But the single item does not open when press “View profile”. The generated link is /water-harmony-erasmus/name/martin-oldenburg/, where water-harmony-erasmus is a name of a page.
Is it possible to see a single item from another page?
If you are splitting the directory onto several pages, each page becomes its own “homepage”. You can use the home_id shortcode to override the page which should be used as the homepage (which will also be the entry’s profile/detail page)
Hope this helps! Let me know.
