I just installed the Shortcodes Pro plugin so when editing a page/article I am able to select a first name + last name in a page/article, then click on a TinyMCE Editor custom button and get automagically a short code inserted so that when a user clicks on the name it will display the related entry.
An even nicer feature would be to get the entry displayed in a lightbox. To do this I do not need the whole page but the entry alone. Is it possible/feasible?
My question was not clear enough. I will try to make ut clearer: is there a way, e.g. a php function if no shortcode is available, to get the entry (connection) without the whole page environment so I will be able to display a single entey in a lightbox when clicking on a connection name?
No, there is no shortcode or PHP function within Connections to create a lightbox effect.
