ParticipantWasn’t sure where to post this, and sorry if this has been answered elsewhere and I missed it.
I’m creating a directory of resources that includes people, companies, reviews, a glossary, and other types of things. I purchased all the premium templates and the widget pack, but found that the default free template was the one that gave the most generic, clean presentation that seemed appropriate for all the different types of entries I had.
My site can be seen at:
http://philanthropynerd.com/directoryI’m having trouble figuring out the best way to handle the “glossary” section of the directory. My plan was to use the “organization” entry type and put the definition in the bio or notes. This works OK, but I really want to display the definition in the list view, not just when they click on the individual entry.
I realize some of the premium templates supports this, but I don’t want pictures, and it would affect all the organization entries not just the glossary ones.
I read that I can customize a template, and maybe that is the approach I need to take, but I thought I would ask first if there was an easier way.
I hope my question makes sense. I love the product, thanks!

Ok, I had to read this a few times but I think I understand the question. Basically what you are asking is if it possible to show the bio field using the Default Entry Card template in list view. Correct? If so, then yes, here’s how. Go to the Connections : Templates admin page and click the Customize button for the Default Entry Card template. The page will refresh with a preview on the right and the Customizer of the left. In the Customizer, enable the display of the bio and then click the Save and Public button.
Hope that helps, let me know.

ParticipantSorry the question wasn’t more clear. Yes, that did the trick. Thank you!
