Yes, there’s help here. I was away yesterday … taking my son to the zoo. It was Saturday in my little part of the world :)
Without a link to your directory it’s hard to say what the issue will be. There’s a few reason the map would not work. Let go thru them…
1. The theme does not have the wp_footer() template tag in its foot. If the theme does not have this, this will break many plugins that require it.
2. There could be a fatal javascript error in another plugin or the theme which is causing other plugin’s javascripts to not run. You can check this by loading your site into Chrome, hitting the F12 key and then clicking the Console tab. If there are errors listed here, they could be why the Map is not working.
3. The theme or another plugin is also queueing the Google Maps API. When it is loaded more than once, it will often times fail to function correctly. If that is the case, try unchecking the Google Maps API option on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Advanced tab in the Compatibility section.
Hopefully that helps, please let me know, thanks!

Fantastic that is that is great to hear that is working! That template tags is pretty important.

GuestSeveral cmap functions don’t seem to be working on my site. The “show map” “show notes” and also the alphabetical list at the top of the page. None of them are doing anything when you click. I read this thread and checked to make sure that the wp_footer() tag was present, which it is. I don’t know enough about java script to be able to decipher what’s wrong… help!! :)
Thanks

I believe the issue is being caused by the theme. If that is the case many plugins will likely break for you.
I have a method baked into Connections that can attempt to fix this. Go to the Connections : Settings admin page and enable the jQuery fixer option under the Advanced tab.

GuestThank you for your reply. I tried that option that you suggested and it hasn’t resolved the issue. I guess that I will need to contact the theme designer. What should I tell him is the issue?
Thank you for your help!

If you left the option on, things do look better as the correct version of jQuery is being used. However, it looks like you might have disabled the Google Maps API option. Please try re-enabling it.
