GuestI have what might be a messy configuration. I work at a science lab. We divide the scientist into 4 groups.
The categories:
Science (Higher level)
astrophysics-exoplanets
magnetospheric-physics-aeronomy
planetary
heliosphericOn one page I use this shortcode:
[connections template="circled" enable_map='FALSE' show_email='TRUE' enable_category_select='FALSE' category_name="planetary" enable_search='TRUE' enable_pagination='TRUE' pagination_position="after" excerpt_length=25 excerpt_more=" Read More…" image_width=150]And that works fine. And so does the same shortcode with heliospheric for category_name
On the 2 other categories…I use this:
[connections template="circled" enable_map='FALSE' show_email='TRUE' enable_category_select='FALSE' category_name="magnetospheric-physics-aeronomy" enable_search='TRUE' enable_pagination='TRUE' pagination_position="after" excerpt_length=25 excerpt_more=" Read More…" image_width=150]This does not work….

RE: This does not work
Could you provide a little more detail on how it does not work? Something should be on the page with the shortcode.
Are the category names really all lowercase with hyphens? They looks like category slugs. The name must match exactly, so if the category name is actually “Magnetospheric Physics Aeronomy”, that is what you should use.
I actually recommend using the category shortcode option instead. You do not need to worry about spelling and capitalization and such while being a more performant database query since string matching is not needed.
Hope this helps!

GuestDuh….you’re right.
I got lulled into thinking the slug would work because of the first 2, the name and the slug are the same :)…
Thanks
